Pavilion Theme: Harmony of the Hearts, Harmony of the Skills
Adam: Welcome to Japan Pavilion.
Kaka: Any exclusive in this pavilion?
Adam: The Japan Pavilion is a semi-circular structure, covered by a purple membrane material. Several antennae and caves make the pavilion a "breathing organism," which will express the harmony between the human heart and technology.
Kaka: Nini, you sound more like a philosopher. Adam, what does 笑顔のつながり mean in Japanese?
Adam: It means Smile to Smile in English, or “微笑相联” in Chinese, also that icon J shows you a great smile, not only it symbolize close relationship between China and Japan, but also foresee a happy future of our human being, a smile link from our generation to next generation, I myself love its design so much.
Adam：Yes, Japan quite pays attention to this coming world expo, in fact, Japan Pavilion is one of the largest among all pavilions in the site, and the pavilion is just like a huge silkworm, they call it a "Purple Silkworm Island", everyday the pavilion can have up to 17000 visitors.
Nini: 17000 visitors? This is a huge number during half a year.
Kaka: Silkworm? That is interesting, I remember I used to raise silkworms when I was a kid, of course, just for fun, maybe only China and Japan love that little insect.
Nini：I think that's why Japan uses silkworm as the shape of its pavilion.
Adam: Yes, the whole pavilion is just like a silkworm, also it's like a space castle, they are going to use solar energy to make the whole pavilion work.
Kaka: What are the highlights of the pavilion?
Adam: The exhibition will focus on three topics: water source protection, global warming and the aging problem. The "future zone" will feature a modern opera developed by both Chinese and Japanese directors. And they also will exhibit an universal camera with function of telescope, and a pal robot which can do home and health care and also can play violin, isn't amazing?
Nini：I wanna buy my grandpa a Japan-made robot, so he won't feel lonely again.
Adam: lol. I believe that China will be able to make better robots, more flexible, more intelligent, and much more cheaper so that everybody can afford, hope I can buy your grandpa a robot made in China，不是阿西莫（Asimo），而是蔡明牌。
